Samson denotes a man of strength as portrayed in the Old Testament Book Judges in the Bible; of course we known that he was a real judge over Israel for nearly 40 years.
Much has been told and surmised about the life and purpose of Samson and how he may have failed.
Of course God shows us two men of renowned character and strengths, one in wisdom and one in the flesh. The other of course is Solomon the Wisest Man On Earth in the bible. Both are lessons to realize that nothing is completed are perfected without the Spirit of God moving and using us.
My very short summation on Samson is that his real weakness lie in his not taking his Headship seriously. When he allowed Deli'lah through her constant questioning to exposé his true vow before God in that his head had never been shaved. This showed just like Esau who sold his birthright, that he gave over to something else.
Of course what man has not allowed his headship to be broken in fellowship?
However, again this is one more lesson on what comprises true strength.
Now my lesson is that this Country the United States of America receives it true voice of courage from our chain of command. We often pledge God, Country, Family which is something that aligns us to a straight course.
